Community is What Defines Montecito

The Montecito Journal, the Montecito Association and the 93108 Fund are three pillars of our community that are stepping in to keep us all connected and support our local businesses.

The 93108 Fund was originally established to support Hourly Wage Earners in Montecito, whose daily work lives were impacted by the devastating Thomas Fire and debris flow back in 2018.

Currently the 93108 Fund is helping frontline employees in Santa Barbara and Montecito who have been affected by the Covid-19 crisis. Using donations from the community, they are delivering "Debit Cards" to hourly wage earners to help provide financial relief. 100% of the donations go to hourly wage earners at businesses or households in Montecito. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause please visit their site here.

It Takes a Village to Save a Village!

In response to the economic crisis related to the Covid-19 pandemic, Montecito Journal, with help from the 93108Fund, the Coast Village Association and the Montecito Association, present Montecito’s May Day Virtual Cash Mob on Friday, May 1st, through Sunday, May 3rd.
