Going, going, gone!

Our real estate market has been experiencing some exciting times in Montecito - and Park Lane has been where a lot of the action was this past week — starting with an auction at 706 Park Lane that had everyone talking (rumored to have sold for around $5M after being on the market at one time for over $9M).

Then there was an inspired transformation of a mixed up split-level traditional (“Brady Bunch" style) into a stunning thick walled Spanish Colonial masterpiece at 703 Park Lane selling quickly and over asking at $6.5M when just up the street at 854 Park Lane a majestic, storied estate from the ’30’s on 3+ acres with views struggled to sell for the same price! Go figure…

Across town at 125 Rametto there was a lightening fast sale of a house that is on seemingly everyone’s wish list - mid century, lots of glass and views, sold for $3.695, no negotiation necessary!

And finally, an escrow for 660 El Bosque, after so many times to the alter hopefully this one will stick.
