Almost two full months into the first quarter of 2023 and the crisp, crystal clear days are a continual reminder of why we love living on the South Coast. It seems 2023 is off to a strong start with several exciting new listings and many buyers in all price ranges out looking and making deals.

Montecito had a total of 9 sales in January 2023, which is down from January 2022 (13 sales). The highest sale was 805 Ayala Lane, which sold for $15,400,000. There were two other sales above $8M in January both of which sold off-market. So far in February we have only seen 5 closed sales, the highest sale being $17,500,000, however, there are currently 11 properties in escrow from $2.4M-$14M (as well as a couple of off-market pending sales!)
