Spotlight Architect: Marc Appleton
Montecito resident and acclaimed architect Marc Appleton and his firm have designed award-winning, site-sensitive houses and hotels immersed in traditional design languages, yet animated by a decidedly contemporary spirit.
A graduate of Harvard College (1968), Marc has a Masters of Architecture degree from the Yale School of Architecture (1972).
Marc Appleton established Appleton Partners LLP in 1976 and has distinguished offices in Santa Barbara and Santa Monica, California. Their firm has designed over 700 projects, which include restorations, additions, new construction, and adaptive reuse of existing buildings.
Drawing visitors from around the world, two of Santa Barbara's renowned resorts are Appleton Partner's projects - The San Ysidro Ranch and The Rosewood Miramar Beach Resort, both creating unforgettable experiences for locals and visitors alike.
