Weekly Market Snapshot
Q1 2021 has come to an end and, what a finish! Definitely not like Q1 2020. Last year at this time we were in unknown territory with a world-wide pandemic taking hold of our daily lives and real estate activity had come to an abrupt halt. Today, though we may not know exactly what lies ahead, we are certain Montecito had a record-breaking number of sales the first quarter of this year. In Q1 2019 there were approximately 29 sales in Montecito; Q1 2020 had approximately 48 sales; Q1 2021 blew 2019 and 2020 out of the water with approximately 98 sales! Now we are left to wonder, will the momentum continue or will the inventory continue to grow sparse.
