Last week in Montecito closed and pending sales dropped a bit, however six new listings hit the market which we always love seeing! There were two very notable sales last week, one being 1890 Jelinda Drive which just closed off market for $11,500,000 - this 2.9 acre Montecito villa sold for nearly double what it closed for in December of 2020 ($5,855,000) after being gutted but not yet renovated. Then there was 228 Rametto Road, a charming 3 bedroom/ 2 bathroom which sold for $4,150,000, that is 20% over the asking price. Not only that, but it closed in 8 days! There is always something "buzz" worthy in Montecito real estate.
