A New Breed of Luxury

Open outdoor spaces and joy-sparking design are the hallmarks of this Santa Barbara residence.

Taking understated glamour to the next level, Villa Firenze embraces the past while simultaneously delivering a sleek, modern lifestyle.

Universally captivating and sited on two parcels and over an acre at the intersection of the Upper East and Mission Canyon, this vibrant estate is imbued with a rich history and modern elegance.

Villa Firenze is imbued with a rich history, one that carries its own dialogue and encourages an experience that cannot be put into words.

Built in 1919, Villa Firenze used to be nine acres, but it was subdivided and sold off in 1958. A historic work of art - the estate's ornamental detailing with its arcaded entrance porch, tiled roofs and classically-inspired pergolas drew heavily from the architectural heritage of renaissance Spain and Italy. The property was first occupied in 1927 by a New York stockbroker and then purchased by Mildred Cooper Couper, a famous composer and pianist. She named the estate Monteverde and later established a music salon onsite - hosting famous musicians and singers for concerts and piano recitals on the property. Villa Frienze's history is just one of the reasons that it is a one-of-a-kind estate, ready for its next chapter.
