Well, we cannot say we are surprised...Montecito (93108) has made the top 10 list for most expensive zip codes in the United States, according to Property Shark, with a median sales price of $4,103,000.
BUT that's not the whole story!
When you look at the number of homes in each zip code, Beverly Hills (with over 9,000 homes) is by far the most expensive zip code followed by Montecito (5,000+homes). But Montecito offers SO much more for the same price:

Atherton is half the size of Montecito and a quarter the size of Beverly Hills — all the other locations have less than 1000 homes in the zip code, so one or two sales tip the scales!
