Weekly Market Snapshot

Summer is winding down and before we know the fourth quarter of the year will be here. August was a steady month for Montecito real estate with approximately 36 sales, nearly the exact same number of sales as last August which saw 37 sales. The highest sale last month was 699 San Ysidro Road, which sold off market for a staggering $28M. New listings picked up slightly last week, which is a welcome sight considering inventory has been a constant battle. We hope you and yours enjoyed a long Labor Day weekend.

What happened in Montecito Last Week?

August 29th - September 4th

Pending sales were up by three last week.

2850 Bella Vista Drive dropped from $14,950,000 to $12,950,000.

FUN FACT: There were 5 sales above $10M last month.

Offered at $6,995,000

Symmetry, style and flair - this vintage renovation has it all! Reborn as a modern Montecito courtyard villa, the 4 bedroom / 4.5 bathroom home, known as renown architect W.A.W. Brownell’s “prize collection,” evokes a fresh, romantic and cozy feeling with crisp white lines, warm Spanish tile accents and an inviting central courtyard welcoming al fresco dining and pool-side gatherings.

That sums it up for last week!
